Promotion FAQ
Who is eligible for this promotion?
New customers with a new 24-month Hosted Private Cloud contract signed between July 1 and November 30, 2025. The promotion cannot be retroactively applied to customers who did not apply for the promotional credits through this program.
What services qualify for the credits?
Contracts that include an OpenStack Hosted Private Cloud product. Bare metal and storage can be added to the cloud. GPU Servers and GPU Clusters are excluded.
Is there a minimum monthly spend needed to qualify?
To be eligible, just commit to a 2-year contract with a minimum monthly spend of $2,500. There’s no upper limit—scale as much as you like.
How do the monthly credits work?
We partially match your monthly spend based on the tier you're in for that month. Credits are applied monthly for the first 15 months and do not roll over.
What’s the maximum credit amount I can receive?
You can get up to $75,000 in total credits over the 15-month promotional period.
Is there support for migrating from VMware?
Yes! We provide Proof of Concept clouds for you to get comfortable with OpenStack and access to migration partners to help you transition from VMware with confidence.
How do I redeem the offer?
Speak with our team, finalize a qualifying contract by November 30, 2025, and credits will be automatically applied starting with your first billing cycle.
When is first payment due?
Your first payment is required upfront before your cloud environment is deployed, and then every 30 days thereafter for the duration of your contract. This ensures we can provision and support your infrastructure immediately upon activation. All billing follows a monthly cycle based on your contract start date.
What changes after the 15-month credit period?
After the 15-month credit period ends, your services will continue uninterrupted at your contracted monthly rate. You’ll still benefit from OpenMetal’s fixed, transparent pricing and full access to your Hosted Private Cloud — just without the promotional credit applied. Your 2-year contract remains in place, and there are no surprise fees or changes to your infrastructure.
